More than 100 guests partied up a storm at Estée Lauder's soiree in the ballroom of the Grand Hyatt hotel. So what if it was a Monday!

To promote its new Re-Nutriv Re-Creation range, the skincare brand invited not one but three women to be ambassadors for the event - former actress Elizabeth Lee Mei-fung, singer Coco Lee and Dr Ava Kwong Hoi-wai, chairwoman of the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry.

The party had an ocean theme to highlight the range's use of an extract taken from Antarctic glaciers. The event started with a short film about Antarctic exploration, followed by singer Jonathan Wong Chi-hin's violin performance of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and Vivaldi's Summer, from The Four Seasons.

The ambassadors made their entrance on stage wearing Barney Cheng couture evening gowns. Models and dancers in glittering dresses strutted down a runway as Wong performed Lady Gaga's The Edge of Glory.

A night of free-flowing vodka cocktails might not be good for the skin, but at least the guests could enjoy the rejuvenating power of the creams when they woke up with a hangover.
