A 10-year-old Hong Kong girl and her mother remained in Ganzhou City People's Hospital last night after a car crash in Jiangxi province on Sunday that claimed the lives of the father, 14-year-old brother and three mainland relatives. Choi To, of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong, said the survivors were in stable condition.

Bail was continued for Agile Property chairman Chen Zhuolin, who was arrested in August after a 28-year-old employee complained he had indecently assaulted her at his Happy Valley home. Chen, 50, must report back to police in the middle of next month. Police said their investigations were continuing.

A 15-year-old girl called police when she saw a man who had molested her two years ago, in the lift lobby of a public housing block in Wan Chai. Police came to the block and arrested a 24-year-old man, who was being held last night for questioning.

The High Court granted HSBC an injunction to stop Occupy Central protesters from returning to the plaza under its headquarters in Central. The action follows two nights of confrontations at the premises.

The Court of First Instance rejected an appeal by the Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course against conviction and a HK$6,000 fine for failing to take out third-party insurance on a light utility vehicle that overturned on the golf course, killing a worker.
