Good coffee needs a cake, Moses Chan says

Coffee

Moses Chan has written books about coffee making and even hosted TV programmes about the art of brewing Joe. Now, it turns out, he takes his chocolate cakes as seriously as his java.

The TVB actor was booked to star in the latest ad campaign for Saint Honore Cake Shop, which was released last Friday.

"That's right, I love making coffee and it would be great if I could also learn how to make cake," Chan said while shooting the campaign. "To pair dessert with coffee is like you can't only have a fork without a knife."

In the campaign, Chan channelled a magician character to make a chocolate cake come out of nowhere.

"When I was little, I dreamed about becoming a magician," he said. "I used to hide a coin in a bowl and asked my mum to guess where the coin went. I was living my dream when I got to play a magician earlier in a TV show. Now I can use a trick or two for the campaign shoot."
