Two more suspects held over murder of prostitute
Police have arrested two more people in connection with the murder of a mainland prostitute whose body was found with multiple knife wounds, in Yau Ma Tei, last week.
The latest arrests, of a 48-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, came days after that of another man in the case. The man was arrested in Wong Tai Sin on Monday afternoon, and the woman in Lok Ma Chau in the small hours of Tuesday, police said.
All three are suspected of being linked to the death of Lau Suk-king, 49. Her naked body was found in a subdivided unit in Shanghai Street on October 24. Multiple cut wounds, including one about 13cm long, were found on her neck.
Police said investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West were continuing on Tuesday.
