Firemen arrive at the scene to tackle the level-four alarm fire, which broke out at Chung Hing Mansion, Pan Hoi Street in Quarry Bay.

Level-four blaze breaks out in Quarry Bay, 8 injured

Scores of firemen were early today struggling to contain a serious fire in a residential building in Quarry Bay, which left at least eight people injured.

All of the injured were sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital for treatment. 

The fire broke out in a flat at the 47-year-old Chung Hing Mansion on King’s Road shortly before 10pm. The fire services department classified it a level-four fire, the second most serious category.
