Guard suspected of killing ex-girlfriend
A security guard in was arrested for allegedly murdering his ex-girlfriend and attempting to kill a colleague, who was attacked with a chopper at Coastal Skyline. The guard, 30, was arrested shortly after at the site. Officers found the body of the 24-year-old woman, who had multiple knife wounds, in a flat in Kui Wo House, Tai Wo Estate, Tai Po. Police believe the three were involved in a love triangle.
Brothers end feud over Fook Lam Moon control
The brothers who run the Fook Lam Moon restaurants signed an out-of-court settlement, a source close to the family said. It means that shareholder and director Chui Pui-kun, fifth son of founder Chui Fook-chuen, and seventh son, Chui Wai-kwan, finally ended their dispute over control of the company.
61pc say economy will grow 2-4pc: survey
More than 61 per cent of 350 businesspeople questioned believe the economy will grow 2-4 per cent next year, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce says in its Annual Business Prospects survey. The results matched its own forecast.
There was no winner of the first prize in last night's draw. The numbers were 13, 17, 26, 28, 32 and 34. The extra number was 6. Three tickets each won the second prize of HK$656,030. Third prize paid HK$46,850.
