Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying is to face lawmaker’s questions about illegal structures found at his home at 5pm in Legco on Monday.
Leung will attend a 90-minute question-and-answer session in the Legislative Council to answer lawmakers’ questions on the illegal structures saga and on "subjects of public concern" on unauthorised buildings in his houses on Peel Rise.
Leung addressed doubts over six other illegal structures in a 14-page statement last month. But new questions emerged after he admitted he had sealed up an extension in the basement with a wall.
Some lawmakers have said that 90 minutes is not enough time to tackle the subject.
Pan-democrats said on Monday morning they were compiling a list of follow-up questions so that the camp could pin Leung down more efficiently.
On Sunday, hundreds of protestors took to the street calling Leung to step down. A motion of no confidence is expected to be tabled in Legco on Wednesday and there has been talk of impeachment proceedings.
