Hong Kong prepares for rainy Easter Weekend
'Unsettled weather' will keep the city wet
If you are spending your Easter weekend in town, prepare for rain and thunderstorms, according to a forecast made by the Hong Kong Observatory.
While the observatory has cancelled its “thunderstorm alert” it sent out on Friday morning, it is forecasting occasional heavy rain and thunderstorms in the next few days caused by “unsettled weather”.
Cities in the Pearl River Delta area suffered strong thunderstorms this week.
Guangzhou reported the biggest storm of the year on Thursday, which delayed over 200 flights, according to the Southern Metropolis Daily
