The South China Morning Post's marketing team won three top prizes and a second prize in this year's International News Media Association Awards.
The Post was one of just four entrants to win multiple first prizes at the awards, held in New York last week.The two marketing campaigns that took the Post to victory were "SCMP - Re:born" and "LuxeWatches App".
The campaigns won both the first and second places in the category of marketing campaign with the best results. "SCMP - Re:born" also came top for new brand/product/audience development and print and digital subscription sales. The Post competed with other news media with circulations of 75,000 to 300,000 copies.
The Inma awards were launched in 1935 to honour the best marketing campaigns by media firms around the world.
This year, the competition drew more than 500 entries from 30 countries and regions. They were judged by a panel of executives representing 13 countries.
"We are very honoured to be given such important global recognition," said Robin Hu, chief executive of the SCMP Group.
"It's important that our readers and advertisers enjoy the quality of our newspapers, and that includes the quality of our own marketing."
