A survey by University of Hong Kong's Popular Opinion Programme has found the percentage of Hongkongers identifying themselves as "Chinese" at the lowest level in 14 years. Thirty-eight per cent of the 1,055 people polled identified themselves as "Hongkongers," with 23 per cent saying they were "Chinese."
