10ft long python greets Lamma ferry passengers
Passengers arriving on Lamma Island on Friday night were met by a large python as they stepped off the ferry. Estimated to be 10 feet long, the snake was seen slithering up a wall near where passengers get on and off the ferry at Yung Shue Wan.

Snakes are common in Hong Kong and are more commonly spotted near areas of thick vegetation.
It's not clear how long this python had been in the ferry pier or what action staff took to remove it.
Pythons are among the largest snakes in the world and are commonly found in Africa, Asia and Australia. They kill their prey by constriction.
