A private car rammed into the front-door glass panels of two seafood restaurants on Monday in a suspected criminal damage case, police said.

The car first hit the Chuen Kee Seafood Restaurant on Man Nin Street in Sai Kung around 6am and shortly afterwards rammed into the restaurant’s second shop on See Cheung Street.

After the second attack the driver abandoned the car and fled the scene.

The driver was indentified as male by a witness quoted on Cable TV.

The vehicle was later discovered by police to have been stolen.

Officers are tyriing to contact the car owner and are looking for the male driver suspected of carrying out the attack.

"Officers are tyriing to contract the car owner and looking for the male driver suspected of carrying out the attack" ... please proofread.
- tyriing should be 'trying'
- contract should be 'contact'
The SCMP sucks so bad now. Totally inept.
There is a lucrative triad controlled car jockey business in Sai Kung which these competing seafood restaurants are supposed to support.
