Schoolgirl, 14, 'grabbed off street, molested and beaten'
Man allegedly led pupil to hillside where she was stripped and assaulted in hour-long ordeal

When a 14-year-old girl was grabbed from behind on a street and robbed it was just the start of an ordeal that lasted more than an hour in which she was led to a hillside, stripped, molested and violently assaulted, a court heard yesterday.

After a sudden mood swing, he began begging for forgiveness, before finally letting her go, the Court of First Instance heard. Cheung denies robbery, indecent assault and assault.
In her opening address, prosecutor Lisa Remedios said Cheung grabbed the Form Three pupil by the neck in Chui Yi Street, Tai Po, at about 7.15pm on January 3 last year.
He robbed her of HK$3,000 worth of belongings, including her iPhone and purse, before taking her to a pavilion at a nearby swimming pool, where he talked to her for more than 20 minutes.
The girl was then led to a hillside trail near Tai Ping Industrial Park, where he stripped her naked after she refused to take off her school uniform, the prosecutor said.
Cheung hit her round the head and kicked her, before forcing her to commit a sexual act, the court heard. He then wrapped the girl's clothes around his hands and molested her.
