Hong Kong’s Tsuen Wan subway line has resumed its normal service after facing a delay due to a “signalling failure” on Tuesday morning, MTR Corp said on its website.
The failure occurred between the stations Admiralty and Tsim Sha Tsui, the operator said at 07.26am on Tuesday. The delay added an additional five minutes travelling time from Admiralty to Tsim Sha Tsui. Normal train service resumed by 8.18am, MTR said.  
MTR intially advised passengers crossing the harbour to switch to the Tung Chung Line, which links Hong Kong Station to Kowloon Station.
The company said it carried out urgent repair work to deal with the signal failure.
