Doctor disciplined over name card
The medical watchdog has found a private doctor guilty of two charges of professional misconduct for printing unauthorised information on his professional name card.

The medical watchdog has found a private doctor guilty of two charges of professional misconduct for printing unauthorised information on his professional name card.
Family doctor Cheung Wing-tak was struck from the medical register for one month, suspended for a year - meaning the sentence will take effect if he offends again in that period.
The disciplinary hearing, held yesterday, came after the Medical Council received an anonymous tip-off.
The card stated that Cheung's service areas included "handling emergency cases and long-term disease, body checks, skin conditions, vaccinations, minor surgery in hospital, and hair transplants".
At the same time, the name card stated a dozen commercial titles held by the doctor which were unrelated to medicine.
Those titles included being a board member of the New Territories General Chamber of Commerce.
