Six hurt as bus driver collapses and mounts pavement in Wan Chai
Driver ploughs into tree and injures pedestrians after collapsing at wheel

Six pedestrians were injured in Wan Chai last night when a bus driver lost control and mounted a pavement.
Police officers at the scene said the New World First Bus driver was steering the vehicle along Tin Lok Lane and had almost reached the Hennessy Road intersection when he began to feel unwell.
"He said he suddenly felt dizzy. He then heard a loud bang and when he came round he saw that the bus had crashed," an officer said.
The No 42 bus was on its way to the North Point Ferry Pier when it mounted the Tin Lok Lane pavement at about 5.40pm and knocked down a tree. Six pedestrians, four men and two women, were taken to hospital with minor hand and leg injuries.
The bumper of the bus was smashed and part of the windscreen was broken. Shocked sales assistants who were working in shops nearby said police officers and ambulances arrived at the scene within minutes.
"I was working inside and suddenly heard a very loud bang. I thought a signboard had dropped down. I ran out and saw this," said a shopkeeper who works at a 7-Eleven store only a few metres away.
"Those injured appeared to be pedestrians. Luckily it looked like no one was seriously injured."
