The Michelin guide to street food has, like its well known high-end stablemate, delighted many food lovers in Hong Kong – particularly those fancying a comparatively cheaper bite than Michelin star-rated restaurants.

Among the 23 Michelin-recommended street food outlets in Hong Kong, seven are on Hong Kong Island, and the rest are spread out on the Kowloon Peninsula.

Their delicious treats vary from local food like egg waffles and cart noodles to international varieties such as Korean Kimbap and Thai skewers.
