Action hero Iron Man will battle aliens across Victoria Harbour, West Kowloon and Central when Hong Kong Disneyland opens its new Marvel-themed area late next year – the first time the city has featured as the setting of a Disneyland ride.
Footage of the 3D motion simulator, called Iron Man Experience, was unveiled at Disneyland’s D23 Expo in California on Saturday.

In the 30-second video clip, viewers flew together with Tony Stark, as Iron Man, as he fought with two aliens on the streets of Hong Kong.
According to a Hong Kong Disneyland spokesman, a team from the United States, joined by a local production crew, earlier filmed shots of the city’s iconic streets and skyline for use in the ride.
Location shooting has already been completed, and the film has moved into production.
