Two hikers dead and third critically injured in separate incidents across Hong Kong

A hiker died last night after falling into the sea in Tiu Keng Leng, while another was in a critical condition after he tumbled into a ravine on Lantau island.
In a third hiking incident yesterday, a man, 62, was found dead on a mountain path in Mount Parker.
The man, who worked as a driver at the central government’s liaison office in Hong Kong, had gone missing on Saturday.

The first case occurred during a morning hike from Sam Ka Tsuen in Yau Tong to Tiu Keng Leng.
The hiker, 63, and his friend were walking along a cliff near Devil’s Peak when he went out of sight.
After a search, the friend spotted him floating in waters off the mountain. The friend pulled him out of the water with the help of a passer-by.
