Dragonair to follow up on web image of alleged flight attendant striking sexy pose

A sexy photograph of a uniform-clad flight attendant, seated with her black stocking-clad legs raised high to the top of the cabin seat in front, has triggered heated debate online.

The flight attendant, reportedly from Dragonair, was wearing a red and black outfit similar to the carrier’s uniform in her pose, which one web user described as “coquettish”.

A Dragonair spokeswoman said today that it was looking into the case.

"Our uniform staff are always reminded that their appearance and behaviour whilst in uniform may influence the perception of the company by the public, as they are representing our corporate image," she said. "We shall follow up the said case in accordance to our internal policies and guidelines."

The side-view image of the stewardess was reportedly circulated among airline staff before being posted onto the internet.

Web users on social media and discussion forums were divided on the issue.

“I would clap my hands even if it was nude, if it was taken while off duty. But wearing a uniform to take a coquettish picture is very low-class and cheap,” a Facebook user named Grace Wong wrote.

Another Facebook user, Yat Lung Ma, said the picture would undermine the professional image of all flight attendants.

Other users said there was nothing wrong with the picture.

“I don’t think there is any problem with the photo. It doesn’t involve nudity or show any underwear,” Yiu Che Yuooid said on Facebook.
