Stunning light installation featuring 25,000 LED roses arrives in Hong Kong for Valentine’s Day

Light Rose Garden - Hong Kong, a mass public art installation originating from South Korea, was launched today in Tamar Park.
Some 25,000 white roses made from LED lights represent the bridging of the romantic traditions of the West’s St Valentine’s Day today and China’s Lantern Festival on the last day of the Chinese New Year period, its creators say.

Victoria Harbour forms the backdrop to the flowers, which will light up at 6pm each day until February 22.
