Colder weather on the way: Hong Kong to see temperature dip to 16 degrees
Temperatures to drop in Hong Kong as intense northeast monsoon arrives

Temperatures are expected to drop to about 18 degrees around midnight Wednesday and get “significantly lower” as an intense northeast monsoon reaches the coast of southern China.
This would mark a six to eight-degree drop from the balmy 25 to 27 degrees Celsius recorded over the last few days that have left many wondering if there would ever be an end to summer.

Temperatures in the urban areas will drop to around 16 degrees on Thursday and Friday morning and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories.
“Over the weekend we expect minimum temperatures to recover gradually to 18 or 19 degrees.”
