A Ferrari sports car went up in flames on a highway in Hong Kong on Tuesday afternoon, with firefighters putting out the blaze in short order.
According to the Fire Services Department, four fire engines and an ambulance were dispatched to the Sha Tin-bound Shing Mun Tunnel Road near Mei Chung Court after receiving a call at about 2.30pm.
A department spokesman said a man and a woman had exited the car before emergency personnel arrived.

Photographs posted online show the car pulling over in the slow lane of the carriageway, with thick smoke pouring out of the back of the vehicle as it goes up in flames.

In the images, two people believed to be the car’s driver and a passenger can be seen standing several metres away from the burning vehicle.
