Woman, 45, says she’s had two girlfriends since coming to Hong Kong
A domestic helper accused of molesting a boy in her care, over three years starting when he was only eight, told the District Court on Wednesday she is a lesbian.
The Filipino woman, 45, allegedly molested the boy in a Kwai Chung flat multiple times between 2011 and 2013.
The alleged acts included penetrative sex, the court heard earlier on Tuesday. Her identity – as well as the boy’s – cannot be disclosed for legal reasons.
On Wednesday the maid denied ever having any sexual intimacy with men, let alone the boy. Testifying for herself, she said she was a lesbian and had had two girlfriends since coming to work in Hong Kong in 2001.
She pleaded not guilty to three counts of indecent assault.
The worker said the boy was honest, even though she would describe him as a “freak” sometimes, recalling an incident in which the boy got angry for no reason when he was five years old.
She said she got along well with the boy who, she agreed, had lots of imagination.
