Prosecutor says accused admitted to using toys and game cards as bait for children

A waiter accused of molesting two brothers, aged seven and 10, last week told police that he indecently assaulted three other children, Kwun Tong Court heard on Tuesday
Hung Lok-yan, 27, is accused of molesting a seven-year-old boy in Tseung Kwan O on March 5, just one day after he allegedly molested the boy’s 10-year-old brother.
Prosecutor Heidi Ip said that when Hung was arrested, he was found in possession of toys and game cards, which he told police he used as bait for children. He admitted to police that he had molested three others, the prosecutor alleged.

Hung faces two counts of indecent assault and one of possessing child pornography, including 34 photos and one video.
The bespectacled defendant, clad in a grey sweater, attempted to shield his face with his hand during the court proceedings.
Ip said that on March 5, Hung was spotted with a boy by a social worker.
“The social worker found him suspicious, so [the worker] followed him to the stairwell,” she said.
