A part-time masseur on Tuesday admitted indecently assaulting a secondary school student during a massage she paid for to relieve revision tiredness in April.

Li Tak-shing, 64, pleaded guilty on to one count of indecent assault.

The District Court heard that the 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, paid HK$180 for a 45-minute massage at a parlour in Fu Fai Garden, Ma On Shan.

She had asked for a head, shoulder and neck massage following a revision session at a nearby library.

But Li offered to give her back an oil massage, and told her to remove her blouse and unbuckle her bra so that they would not get in the way.

He moved on to massage her legs and waist, before removing her skirt.

Prosecutors said the girl had found it strange at the time, but did not know how to respond as it was her first massage.

She got scared when Li went on to touch her breasts and genitals, after suddenly removing her underpants despite her attempts to pull them up.

She shouted that it was painful, but the ordeal continued for five more minutes.

Li offered to provide another session but the girl ignored him and left quickly.

The incident was reported to police two hours later when the girl’s father found her crying and saying that she was scared.

Judge Timothy Casewell will sentence Li on October 12, pending psychological and medical reports.
