Hong Kong man who stole and drank colleague’s breast milk given 200 hours of community service
Defence counsel says he committed offence because he could not cope with stress
A computer technician who stole and drank a colleague’s breast milk because he could not cope with stress was slapped with 200 hours of community service by a court on Wednesday.
The Eastern Court heard that Lam Chung-kan, who is married, stole a bottle of breast milk from his office pantry on March 8 and sent the mother anonymous messages, claiming that he had drank her milk.
A month later, she received similar messages but these were accompanied by a photo of an erect penis wrapped in a plastic bag and another of a glass of milk.
Lam was exposed when CCTV footage revealed that he was the only one in the office using a phone at the time, and that phone was later found containing those messages and photos.
The 37-year-old father of two pleaded guilty earlier this month to one count of theft.
