A 75-year-old man has been charged with the murder of an 80 year old in a Yuen Long village.
The body of the victim was found at his Tin Sam Tsuen home on Sunday and the accused is expected to appear at Tuen Mun Court on Tuesday.
More than 100 officers, including those from the Police Tactical Unit, searched the village on Monday for a hammer, which police said was the weapon used.
Cheung Po-yuet, chief inspector at the New Territories North regional headquarters, said: “We also want to find the belongings that went missing from the dead man, including his wallet and phone.”
The site, which was searched, is about half a kilometre from the house where the body was found.
