Man, 91, arrested over indecent assault on female resident of same age at Hong Kong care home

A 91-year-old man at a Sau Mau Ping home for the elderly has been arrested on suspicion of indecently assaulting a female resident of the same age.

Staff at the home reportedly discovered that the man had stripped the woman, who is a dementia patient, inside a room at the premises on Lee On Road early Thursday morning.

Calls for action after Hong Kong care home sexual assault claims

He was also accused of lying on top of the woman. They were separated by staff members immediately.

The home called the police at about 11am and the man was arrested.

A Sau Mau Ping district investigation team has launched a probe.
