About 70 passengers were forced to flee a double-decker bus before it burst into flames in Hong Kong on Wednesday.

The accident disrupted traffic on a major Kowloon artery for more than an hour.

The 281A from Sha Tin to Kowloon MTR station started billowing smoke as it travelled along Waterloo Road near Baptist Hospital in Kowloon Tong at about 9.30am.
