More nude photos of Prince Harry may appear, Max Clifford indicates
A prominent British public relations guru said yesterday he had been approached by two women who claimed to have more material on Prince Harry, raising the possibility that the world might soon see more compromising images of the British royal.
This week, celebrity gossip website TMZ published photos of Harry romping naked at a party at his Las Vegas hotel suite.
Publicist Max Clifford said he had been called by two American women who claimed they were in the prince's hotel room in the United States last week. Clifford, famous for negotiating kiss-and-tell interviews, said the women "said they had lots of interesting things: pictures, video, that kind of thing". He said he turned them down. "It's an infringement of his privacy," he said.
Meanwhile The Sun, Rupert Murdoch's popular British tabloid, yesterday published nude photographs of Harry despite being asked not to by the royal family. A picture of the nude prince appeared on the front of yesterday's edition next to the headline: "Heir it is."
" The Sun is publishing the naked Prince Harry party pictures our readers have been prevented from seeing in print," it said. "He often sails close to the wind for a royal - but he's 27, single and a soldier.
"We like him. We are publishing the photos because we think Sun readers have a right to see them. The reasons for that go beyond this one story."
