British media say a lawmaker has been arrested after a fight at a bar inside the Parliament buildings.
The Press Association news agency, the BBC and others say Eric Joyce was handcuffed and detained after an altercation late on Thursday.
London’s Metropolitan Police said a man in his 50s was arrested after officers were called to reports of a disturbance at a bar within the House of Commons.

Joyce, a 52-year-old former soldier who represents Falkirk in Scotland, was charged with assault last year after he was involved in a melee with several other politicians at a House of Commons bar.
Joyce admitted the charges and paid a fine. He resigned from the Labour Party and said he would step down from Parliament at the next election in 2015.
