La dolce vita

Fat Angelo's was sorely missed when it vacated its premises, but in its place is more Italian fare. Nico's Spuntino offers southern dishes, ideal for a casual bite to eat along the Mid-Levels escalator.

The starter of burrata cheese (HK$68/HK$128) was creamy with sun-dried tomato and pesto sauces. The seafood platter (HK$188) featured octopus in a spicy arrabiata sauce, prawn cocktail, and smoked swordfish and tuna, and marinated anchovies.
