Behind the label: Mademoiselle Tara

Launched last year, Mademoiselle Tara is the little sister of fashion brand Tara Jarmon. Paris-based Canadian designer Jarmon has infused the new label with the same aesthetic of clean lines and elegant exuberance as the higher-end brand has while catering to a younger, fresher, more playful spirit.

: mixing feminine and retro styles, the looks are sweet and reminiscent of 1960s supermodel Twiggy. The autumn-winter collection is inspired by London, with lots of floral patterns and soft pink shades, as well as geometric shapes and patterns on darker, tougher materials, especially in outerwear. Clean white collars and warm autumn hues are contrasted with sharp lines and leather accents.
