Senior Shield champions Wofoo Tai Po came from behind to snatch the points in a 3-1 win over Citizen in yesterday's RedMR First Division soccer match at Tai Po Sports Ground. Trailing by an Alessandro opening goal in the 13th minute, Tai Po went to work, with Christian Annan finding the equaliser in the 17th minute before goals from Ye Jia (49th minute) and Alexander Akande (65) sealed victory. Reds rattle Waratahs to spoil Folau debut
Ben Tapuai scored two tries to help the Queensland Reds to a 25-17 victory over the Waratahs and spoil code-hopper Israel Folau's Super Rugby debut at Lang Park. The Waratahs fought back in the second half with tries from Folau, a former rugby league international and Australian Rules player, and Ben Volavola, but paid the price for too many handling errors. Lee clinches second medal at worlds
Hong Kong's Sarah Lee Wai-sze won her second World Track Cycling Championships medal in Minsk, Belarus, yesterday after beating Guo Shuang of China for the bronze in the women's sprint. Lee, who also won a bronze at the Olympic Games in London last year in the keirin, clinched a gold medal in the time trial on Thursday.
 
England thrash NZ to win series in Auckland
Devastating bowling from Steven Finn and a solid top-order batting display gave England a five-wicket win over New Zealand in the deciding one-day cricket international at Eden Park in Auckland yesterday to claim the series 2-1. After New Zealand were dismissed for an unchallenging 185 in an innings that ended 37 balls short of their 50 overs, England overhauled the target in a rapid 37.3 overs. The victory gives England a boost going into the first test on March 6 after earlier winning the Twenty20 series 2-1. Finn ended with the figures of three for 27 off nine overs, while Stuart Broad took two for 38 as the England bowlers relished the New Zealand wicket. "Considering we've just come from three months in India to come here, it's nice that there's a bit of bounce and you can hurry batsmen up a little bit," said Finn. Warriors end jinx to beat Spurs in overtime
The Golden State Warriors ended a five-year jinx by beating San Antonio 107-101 in overtime, ending a 16-game losing streak against the Spurs. Jarrett Jack had 30 points and 10 rebounds while David Lee added 25 points for the Warriors, who beat the NBA-leading Spurs for the first time since January, 2008. The Chicago Blackhawks set an NHL record for the best start to a season when they scored a point in a 17th consecutive game by defeating the San Jose Sharks 2-1. Rookie Brandon Saad's short-handed third-period goal delivered the game-winner as the Blackhawks (14-0-3) remained undefeated in regulation play this season.
