Li Guanfeng, formerly known as Li Tianyi and the son of PLA Art Academy tenor Li Shuangjiang, 74, is suspected along with four other men of taking a drunken woman to Beijng's Hubei Hotel early last Monday, where she was allegedly gang-raped, the Legal Evening News reports.

More details surfaced yesterday of the detention of the 17-year-old son of a celebrity PLA Army tenor as a suspect in a gang rape.
"The girl looked young and was so drunk that she was almost unconscious," a Hubei Hotel staff member told the newspaper.
Hotel staff had asked that only the girl be checked into the room because the room was opened with her ID, but the men insisted they would leave after sending her to the room. A hotel worker went to the room later to remind the men to leave, but did not enforce hotel policy because the worker was convinced they were friends and "there were so many people in the room".
The five men left the hotel after about an hour.
The newspaper said the victim was not a Beijing native and denied online rumours that she was a minor.
