Hong Kong stocks open 1.10pc higher

Hong Kong shares rose 1.10 per cent in the first few minutes of trade on Thursday after Wall Street ended at a more than five-year high. The benchmark Hang Seng Index opened 249.41 points higher at 22,826.42.
