I don't understand what the instruction 'leave out the person' means. How do you leave out the person? Can you explain it? I don't have a problem with the exercise. I just want to know why and when you leave out the person.

I found the second part (questions 9 to 16) very easy. I like the passage very much, especially the first sentence. It gave me something to think about. I have no problem with the first part of the exercise either. Once I identified the object, it was easy to construct the sentence.
