The Jockey Club has announced changes to the betting pools, starting on Sunday. The club has scrapped the Treble and introduced a new bet type, the First 4, as well as adding a third Double Trio.

The First 4 will operate like a Trio, with punters to select the first four finishers in any order.

The third Double Trio will operate on the final two races on weekend meetings only.
