California Governor Jerry Brown declared a drought emergency last week, which the state faces the third dry winter in a row, to allow seeking federal aid such as fresh water. More than 4,000 kilometers to East Coast, as much as 14 inches of snow buried the grounds, shuttered schools in a freezing condition. “More winter and spring precipitation is projected for the northern US, and less for the Southwest, over this century,” report said.
