With soairing unemployment in Spain and an ongoing economic crisis, families have found it hard to put food on the table and reduced some citizens to scavenging for scraps. But the Tetuan Food Bank in the Spanish capital of Madrid is hoping to alleviate some of those hunger pangs. Since it was founded last year, it has helped scores of people. Some 30 volunteer families not only receive free food, but are expected to collect and bring food to ther recipients as well. Photos: Reuters
