The mystery and the agony of MH370

7 Mar 2015

For the families of the passengers and crew on board the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, the past year has been an emotional rollercoaster. There has been grief, hope, guilt and even anger as the search for both the jet and answers to the mystery continues. But there has been one overriding emotion: the agony of not knowing. It was a year ago today that MH370 and the 239 mostly Chinese people on board disappeared on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Photographers from EPA, Reuters, Agence France-Presse and Associated Press captured these images of the search, the tributes and the pain of the families.
