Hong Kong tainted water scare 2015

I'll drink to that

5 Aug 2015

The city may be reeling over revelations of high lead levels in some of its tap water, but its many mountains are also a source of fresh water that many locals swear is just as good for drinking or making a tasty tea brew. Post photographer Sam Tsang took his camera along when he joined some of those who regularly climb behind Shui Chuen O Estate in Sha Tin as well as in Fei Ngo Shan and Kam Shan, in search of a refreshing, natural mouthful, often channelled from spouts they have built themselves just for the purpose. Some take the water home to share, while for others, an invigorating shower is also part of the fun.
