Game on Sony's PSP Go (pictured, top left), which was released on Thursday, is a lighter, more-compact version of its popular PlayStation Portable gaming system. Instead of using an optical disc drive, the PSP Go has 16 gigabytes of internal memory in which to store games, videos, photos and music. That capacity can be expanded with a 32GB Memory Stick Micro.
The Go has a 3.8-inch screen, compared with the PSP's 4.3-inch display, and Wi-fi connection allows users to download games, demonstration programs, trailers and other free or paid-for content from Sony's online PlayStation Store. Available in either black or white, the PSP Go costs HK$1,899.
Ear peace Plantronics, a maker of the type of premium lightweight headsets preferred by aviators, has released the Discovery 975 Bluetooth earpiece (top right), which replaces the 925 model.
The Discovery 975 features Plantronics' signature boom microphone to capture speech close to the mouth, ensuring a user's voice sounds natural. Soft-gel ear tips are used for a stable, comfortable fit that doesn't intrude into your ear canal. Its two buttons are for powering on/off and call answer/end, as well as for volume control and mute. The Discovery 975 Bluetooth earpiece sells for HK$1,098.

The three-inch display serves as the viewfinder. It has manual setting options, such as white balance and exposure metering and correction. The Flexline 140 digital camera - available in bronze, blue and black - is priced at HK$1,490.
