Brett Prebble emerged as the best of the four Hong Kong jockeys who made the long trip down to Melbourne for the inaugural Cathay Pacific (SEHK: 0293) Superstar Jockey Challenge last night. On the city track midweek, Almond Lee Yee-tat claimed a 100 per cent winning record with his three horses on Wednesday night.

The feature race at Sha Tin today is the 1,200m Yan Chai Trophy. I've gone for Number 4, Appreciation, who will be ridden by Prebble and is trained by John Size. He showed good fight to finish behind Royal Flush at the same distance last season.

The Melbourne jockey is also the clear favourite to take today's Jockey Challenge at uninspiring early odds of 1.50. For my best bet, I've gone to Race 6, Horse 11, Sunny Smiles. Good punting! VIDEO & AUDIO AFTER THE JUMP.
