Actor and first-time producer Simon Yam Tat-wah speaks to reporter Clara Mak about his new arthouse film
Ocean Flame, a story about a waitress who falls in love with a badboy and takes her on a road of no return. Yam hopes Hong Kong audiences can watch more arthouse films instead of the usual Hollywood blockbusters.
Having being received well at Cannes and the Toronto Film Festival, Ocean Flame will be the opening film of the next International Hong Kong Film Festival. We also catch up with main actress Monica Mok, who is also a former Miss Sydney.
