Construction is underway on a 75-story residential tower in the heart of London's Docklands. When it opens in 2020, The Landmark Pinnacle will be the tallest residential building in London, offering spectacular views over the city and the River Thames and convenient access to one of the city's major financial districts.

It may be a few years from completion, but eager investors can already purchase multiple floors of residential apartments in this exciting new development, which will shortly become a major local landmark.

Prime location

Located right next to Canary Wharf, The Landmark Pinnacle offers instant access to one of London's three core financial and business services employment locations. For property investors, it's also one of the city's best performing sub-markets, with above-average price growth expected following the opening of the nearby Canary Wharf Crossrail station in 2018.

The tower is being constructed at the end of one of the longest docks on the Isle of Dogs, meaning most apartments will benefit from uninterrupted views of local landmarks and the capital's skyline. West-facing apartments look out over the River Thames towards the city of London, while east-facing apartments take in Canary Wharf, West India Dock and the O2 Dome.

Crossrail connection

Canary Wharf is expected to be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the £14.8 billion Crossrail project. The new Canary Wharf station will significantly reduce commuting times to and from the city, as well as put Heathrow Airport just 39 minutes away.

More importantly for property buyers, the opening of the Crossrail station is expected to lead to further development of the western end of Canary Wharf, improving amenities, driving up rents and making the area an even more desirable place to live.

Landmark architecture

The Landmark Pinnacle was designed by architects Squire & Partners for Chalegrove Properties Limited. Its west- and east-aspect apartments maximize natural daylight and offer the best possible views for residents, while its triple-glazed facade and plain rectangular form blend in seamlessly with other Canary Wharf structures.

Henry Squire of Squire & Partners explains: "The Landmark Pinnacle represents the final part of a masterplan that has been developing with Chalegrove over the past 10 years. Its simple, pure form, combined with high-quality materials and detailing, will be a fantastic addition to the Canary Wharf skyline and represent the core values at the heart of the development."

Premium facilities

Once completed, the Landmark Pinnacle is expected to reach 233 meters (764 feet) and will include a total of 984 apartments.

Of these, 752 will be private residential accommodation (floors 11–74) and 162 will be serviced apartments (floors 2–10), in addition to 70 shared ownership apartments. Units range from studio and single-bedroom apartments up to four-bedroom penthouse suites.

All residents can access a wide range of on-site amenities including a private dining room, club lounge, fitness, leisure and entertainment venues, a children's play area and a rooftop garden. The building also offers 24-hour security, concierge services and underground parking.

Units available now

Property investors now have the opportunity to snap up this premium residential real estate by forward purchasing individual or multiple floors on an unlimited lease.

Each available floor comprises 14 apartments of mixed types: 4 studios, 6 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom apartments, ranging from 484 to 818 gross square feet.
