London's central and exclusive boroughs have always attracted high-end residents, but a new wave of luxury projects sweeping through the City, Marylebone, South Bank, Victoria and Westminster is redefining these prime locations to suit the preferences of today's high-net-worth property buyers.

Westminster's residential market in particular is predicted to grow by 15 percent over the next five years, according to research from JLL UK. One of the new schemes supporting this growth is The Broadway, a vibrant 75,000-square-foot residential and commercial quarter developed by Northacre and Abu Dhabi Financial Group.

A well-connected hub

This world-class mixed-use development, located in the heart of SW1, will repurpose the former headquarters of New Scotland Yard to create six striking buildings commanding outstanding views over London. These buildings, which will feature luxury apartments, shops, cafes, restaurants and office space, frame a 20,000-square-foot public courtyard and piazza.

The opening of The Broadway will enhance one of London's most appealing boroughs even further, with 25,800 square feet of ground floor retail offerings and 118,000 square feet of state-of-the-art office space.

Living at The Broadway also puts London's most exclusive shopping neighborhoods close by, with Bond Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street being just 15 minutes away. For families with children, renowned education institutions such as Westminster School, University College London and Imperial College London are all in the nearby neigbourhood.

You won’t have to worry about transport connections either. St. James's Park Underground Station is just a minute from the door, and Westminster and Victoria stations aren't much farther. With a total of 27 Underground stations and the high-frequency Crossrail service arriving in late 2018, Westminster is reaffirming its status as London's best-connected borough.

Panoramic views in the heart of London

The Broadway will include 285 apartments starting from the fourth floors, most of which offer double-aspect views of iconic London landmarks, such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, St. James's Park and Westminster Abbey.

The six buildings are designed by architects Squire and Partners to be eye-catching landmarks themselves. Inspired by the surrounding Royal Parks, two landscaped podiums link the towers at the fourth floor to create a private garden retreat for residents above the bustling pedestrianized plaza.

Residents will also have access to 16,000 square feet of health, fitness and spa facilities, such as a 25-meter pool, gym, personal training studio and treatment rooms. Other amenities include a games room, private screening room, meeting rooms and extensive parking spaces.

The Broadway is being co-developed by Northacre, a leading UK property company with a proven track record of boosting residential values in Central London's most sought-after locations.

As Northacre’s first major mixed-use development, The Broadway is significant for the developer. Northacre CEO Niccolò Barattieri di San Pietro says: “We are looking forward to creating another prestigious neighborhood in London; a vibrant new hub for an area, which despite its unrivaled location, views and transport, has long been undervalued.”
