As the miniaturisation trend advances along with rising demand for high-performance and multifunctional products, precision manufacturing is becoming more critical in the automotive and optoelectronics fields.

Adept in satisfying the strict quality and delivery requirements in these industries is Japanese precision component manufacturer ENOMOTO, which has been a reliable partner to key players for more than 50 years with its integrated production capabilities.

“What makes ENOMOTO a preferred partner is our one-stop shop service,” says Nobuyuki Takeuchi, president. “We closely collaborate with customers from product design to actual fabrication to create customised solutions that meet user specifications.”

At its ISO9001-certified factories, ENOMOTO principally produces lead frames for high-end light-emitting diode (LED) products for supply to foremost
LED manufacturers in Japan and abroad. It also has technical expertise to make integrated circuit, transistor and optoelectronics lead frames; narrow pitch connectors; high-quality insert moulds; and precision dies.

To supplement its four domestic factories and respond more quickly to the needs of its growing clientele in Asia, ENOMOTO expanded its production network to the Philippines and China. Starting some 20 years ago in the Philippines, the company opened its third manufacturing plant in the country last November to meet increasing demand from local automotive and electronics industry majors. The new factory will also allow ENOMOTO to harness export opportunities that will open with the imminent Asean economic integration and easily expand reach to automotive and connector customers in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.

Apart from ramping up exports to the Asean, ENOMOTO aims to bring its expertise to the new markets of health care, wearable devices and telecommunications. The Japanese company is keen on forming partnerships to develop applications of its precision technology in these fields.

“We are known for our tenacity to make high-quality products,” Takeuchi says. “This is the ENOMOTO DNA that we are ready to share to more of Asia.”
