For the dynamic, highly competitive fashion and retail sector, speed to market is critical to keep pace with rapidly changing consumer tastes and demands while keeping inventory levels under control.

Offering end-to-end freight forwarding and supply chain solutions for 18 years, Wen-Parker Logistics (WPL) rises above the challenge through specialised services, particularly its supply chain technology.

"We utilise the latest technology to help clients maximise supply chain efficiency, create value and drive greater productivity," says Steven Emanuel, president and chief operating officer. WPL's in-house technology enables it to electronically manage and monitor the shipment lifecycle and provide clients with automated status notifications while shipments are in transit.

Acting as a single point of contact for customers, WPL has comprehensive supply chain services that include air and ocean freight forwarding, purchase order management, customs brokerage, trucking and container drayage, and warehousing and distribution. With strong competency in air freight transport for the fashion and retail industry, particularly in apparel and footwear, it counts well-recognised fashion and sportswear leaders among its clientele.

Headquartered in Mahwah, New Jersey, WPL identifies Asia, North America and Latin America as its focus markets. A partner of choice for Pan-American exports from Asia, the company owns operations in Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, the Philippines and Indonesia, which serves as its Southeast Asian central office. It has four offices in China, including a regional office in Hong Kong, and will launch a Vietnam subsidiary by year's end.

"To complement our existing network of owned and operated offices in the United States and Asia, we work with local agent-partners having similar logistics and data capabilities for a comprehensive global service offering," Emanuel says.

Driven by Asia's robust manufacturing sector, WPL reinforces its presence in the region's fast-growing verticals such as automotive parts and accessories, medical devices and equipment. It also engages in e-commerce B2C, where it assists clients in connecting to online sales platforms in China.
